Our Tropical Flakes are a fine food for all tropical fish. They are a mixture of Color Flake, Spirulina Flake and Staple Flake Foods. While our Tropical Flakes are designed as a full diet for all fish, we recommend supplemental feedings of our Crumbles of various sizes as well since fish like variety in diet.

Our Tropical Flakes are an ideal food for tetras, barbs, gouramis, bettas, guppies, swords, platies, cichlids (except for the largest), catfish, etc.

while economical, this fish food breaks up too much in the water and quickly accumulates in the filter. maybe if you have a lot of small fish this is a good choice, but essentially you end up pouring powder into your tank.

I have a 90 gallon tank and I have put a bunch of fish in it. I figured I would need a lot of fish food so I bought a pound of fish food. It is going to last a few years. I think the food will last longer then all my fish. I will probably will not have to buy fish food for a really long time. $20 bucks is a good price.

It looks good and my fish like it. The only thing though is most of the flakes in the package are really small and have been crushed.
Not recommended for big fish

What a deal!flakes were tested in my saltwater tank.Fish consummed every flake,in seconds. What a great buy!.. beat the high cost. Enjoy your fish.

Paying around $8.00 for a couple ounces of fish food at my local pet store this seemed like to good to be true. The food is just the same (at least my fish think so), so why pay more.
